Biography
Elias Valle is a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. His music is focused on processes of natural and reactive progression and demands a macro view into its intricacy. His recent projects take inspiration from the organic and the primeval and have a harmonically rich composition that reflects his inspirations.
Elias’ music has recently been performed or recorded by ensembles including the Norfolk Contemporary Ensemble, Semiosis Quartet, members of Nu Deco Ensemble, members of Tactus Ensemble, the California School for the Arts Wind Ensemble, and performers including Lisa Moore, Wilson Poffenberger, Maya Proulx, and more.
His music and performance abilities have been recognized by organizations and competitions including MTNA, the International Association of Professional Music Teachers, Tribeca New Music, the Young Composers Challenge, and he was named a Winner with Distinction in the National YoungArts Competition 2025. He has also had the privilege of working with influential minds including Pulitzer Prize winner Aaron Jay Kernis, Grammy winner Pascal Le Boeuf, and Martin Bresnick.
Elias is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Composition at the Manhattan School of Music where he studies with Reiko Fueting.
